Wyse solar aolutions were contracted to change an existing system comprising of two solar PV arrays, each consisting of 38 modules feeding an existing battery bank which in turn was feeding designated circuits through inverters. The new proposal was to have the two arrays, each rated at 1.8KWp feeding directly into two different phases of the grid system and any excess power not used by the building, exported on the grid and sold, i.e. importing/exporting of power. This contract, the first of its kind, was completed successfully in June 2006 after being witness tested by the supply company and is well on its way to generating 3500KW per year.

COMMENT FROM CLIENT:
We owe a great debt of gratitude to Wyse solar solutions, as they were capable of integrating the theoretical ideals of this project with designing and sourcing equipment to achieve the required end result. This was all the more difficult as there was nothing comparable in Ireland and the utility company's requirements here were different to that in the UK, with the result that Wyse solar solutions undertook to design a control panel that met the utility company's requirements and was successfully witness tested by them.
